This is an amazing time in your daughter’s life. Soon it will be her big day, professional and amateur photographers will be snapping posed and candid shots. You are going to be in many of these photos and you need to be camera ready. Read these tips to keep you looking beautiful on family walls for years to come
Let’s be honest. If our daughters are getting married, it means that we aren’t as young as we used to be. As we age the natural lip color starts to fade and the eyes generally don’t seem as bright. RapidLash can help to bring back the youthful look of beautiful lashes and brows and some well-placed cosmetics can do the rest.
Many mothers of the bride don’t wear much makeup and aren’t necessarily looking to have it done professionally. However, if you don’t normally wear a lot of makeup and aren’t comfortable applying it you should consider having your makeup done. The trick is to be comfortable in person while simultaneous avoiding look washed out in the photos. A professional will be able to do this for you.
Makeup artist Kelly Bruce advises, “On the day of the wedding make sure your skin is moisturized and in good condition. Start with a foundation and concealer to even out and brighten the skin tone. Bring attention to the eye by dotting eyeliner close to the lash line and then smudge it in. Next, apply several coats of mascara to your lashes. Don’t forget to play up a healthy and defined eyebrow. Finally, finish your look with blush high on the cheek bones and lipstick that is a couple of shades darker than your natural lip color.”
We wish you and your family the most magical of wedding days!
