Got a hot date this Valentine’s Day? It’s a super sexy holiday all about the love. If you are thinking about your makeup it’s because you are doing something special. The ultimate valentine date look is soft and sexy. We asked Bella Brides makeup to give us a few suggestions to help make us irresistible.

Red or Pink Lips

Valentine’s Day always has a pink or red theme, so pink or red lipstick or lip-gloss is a natural choice. Basically pick a pretty glossy pink or red lip color. Something that isn’t too matte nice look for this occasion.

Luminous Skin

It’s date night on Valentine’s Day so you want to have some coverage. Let your own skin shine through. You want luminous skin that’s not overly made up. It’s about being sexy, so have the skin fresh and dewy, not shiny. To achieve this look, simply use your powder sparingly or as needed on oily areas to keep the shine in check. It’s all about not having the skin super matte.

Start Blushing

You want your cheeks highlighted with a little blush. A cream blush is a great way to bring dewy pink softness to your cheeks. Want to amp it up a little more? Don’t be afraid to take your blush color and softly put that through the crease of your eye or run a little blush through the brow bone. Just don’t go overboard and have an all pink face.

Play Up the Eyes

Keep it simple with a shimmery shadow on the lid. A pretty soft colored eye shadow on the lid, an off-white or a shade with a tiny bit of pink in it. For the women that go with red lipstick, you would want to keep the eyes a shimmery beige eye shadow. Get your black liner out, line your upper and lower lashes and smudge it. A cat-eye of black winged liner is always a flirty and fun addition too. Finish off the look with two coats of mascara.
