Most people have visible veins on their eyelids, but nobody talks about them because they are slightly freaky.  Your lovely RapidLash fringe might cover them up when your eyes are open but when your eyes are closed it’s obvious that some of us have major veins. It’s not a huge deal, but if you want your eyes to look perfect you need to take care of those babies! Bella Brides gives us the skinny on lid-veins and how to hide them.

Why me?!

Don’t be embarrassed! “It is completely natural to have veins there because that is where the skin is thinnest. They appear in a variety of colors depending on your skin tone, from blue, to purple and green.”

Use Your Concealer!

“You absolutely want to remember the lids when you are concealing around your eye! The lids are just as important as under the eye and the inner corner. It can be red, pink or have veins.

Lighter skin tones should opt for a product with a bit of yellow in it. Darker skin tones should try a shade with a little more peach in it. Be sure to cover the entire eye area, up to the brow and gently pat it in. If you are going without eye shadow use a bit of translucent powder to set it”

Now it will be just our secret! Thanks Kelly!
