The gifted hair magician, Jeffrie Zampell, co-owner of Millennium Personal Spa & Hair Studio advised us on how to look super seductive during this festive season.

Soft, Sexy 70’s Waves

“Holiday wise, forget anything puffy. Gone are the days of looking like Shirley Temple. Last year a big thing was putting in a million curls in and then not doing anything to it. Now, we are getting into that 70s mod look where hair has soft sexy waves that might have a bend to it but not a lot.”

“The best way to get this effect is to take a big barrel curling and throw a few curls in it. Next take your blow-dryer with a big round brush and blow it out a little bit, so it just creates that softness. You can also spray in a little texture spray, and use your brush to blow it to get that soft look.” Accessorize with a fabric headband and lots of lashes. Oh, wait. You already have those.

The Veronica Lake Look

If tousled locks aren’t your thing, consider the super sultry Veronica Lake look. We predict that you are going to see a lot of scalding hot waves cascading over one eye this holiday.

“To achieve this style, start with a deep part past the arch of your eyebrow. Use a round brush and blow dry your hair sideways off the face to create a slight a sweep. Use a big barrel iron working in large sections to create a subtle bend. Then take your brush and comb it out to make it more of a wave.”
